 Book Review - Good Inside

This is a wonderful book by well-known parenting expert Dr. Becky Kennedy and takes you through boundry breaking concepts around the dynmaics and roles of the parent-child relationship.  Dr. Becky preaches that concept that we are all "Good Inside" and that by understanding this premise, you will find that shifting your perspective of difficult parenting situations becomes easier, and you are able to regulate yours and your child's emotions to a better and more productive degree.

I would recommend this book for any parent, at any stage or any age.  Even if your children are fully grown, acquiring this revolution take on parenting that Dr. Becky so eloquently delivers us is lifechanging and grounding.  I was very surprised how Dr. Becky's explanation of common parenting frustrations relenquished the internal precept that a child is acting out of malice or ill intent.

In reality, children are all "Good Inside" but are handed the tremendous task of understanding and managing emotions that are very big and often scary to them.  This book delivers a compendium of useful tools for the many common parenting struggles that all parents face with their children, with this core notion being the groundwork for building wonderful relationships with our children, while also allowing them to grow into emotionally stable human beings.
