Book Review - Learn PowerShell in a Month of Lunches by Travis Plunk, James Petty, et al.
Every IT Professional should have this book on their shelf and ideally read through it twice. PowerShell make you look like a wizard in the IT world, and this book takes you through the steps to learning how teach yourself to become proficient in PowerShell, no matter what module or task you are facing.
The Authors intended for each section of this book to be completed during one lunch hour - roughly taking 40 minutes to read the content, alloting you an extra 20 minutes to practice the new concepts taught in that section. By the end, there is no doubt that you will hold an adequate level of proficiency that will have you solving your IT problems in ways you never thought possible.
I can repeat enough times how much I recommend this book to everyone with a career in IT. PowerShell is here to stay and will be one of those skills that will remain relevant for the forseeable future, and this book does an impeccable job of guiding you on the path to continuing mastery.
