Book Review - Naked Economics by Charles Wheelan
This book was a fantastic exploration into the concepts underlying Economics. Not only does the author avert using formulas and equations to explain this complex subject, he also breaks down the topic into understandable examples that allow the reader to grasp the ebb and flow of an economy.
The thoughts of the author are backed by good science and decades of studies, and after reading this book, I feel - at least a little - capable of holding up a conversation and diving into the intracies that form the this invisible web of strings dictating the price of commodities and services.
If you find yourself wanting that base line understanding and knowledge of - arguably - the most important component of modern society, then grab yourself a copy of this book. Everyone deserves to be able to articulate their thoughts about the ever-churning nature of Economics.
