This novel marks the beginning of a much larger story—one that follows three young adults, Todd Gruely, Ocean Morales, and Josh Sternbecker, as their lives collide with forces far older, more calculated, and more dangerous than they initially understand.
What begins as an investigation into a shadowy organization known as The Calypso quickly escalates into something much larger. The conflict is not simply about stopping an enemy, but about understanding how power moves, how systems scale, and what happens when science begins to behave like something far more ancient.
Throughout the story, elements of science fiction, philosophy, and mysticism are woven together—not to explain everything, but to raise questions. Questions about identity, control, morality, and the cost of progress when innovation outpaces restraint.
Rise of the Calypso is only the opening movement. The series is designed to unfold over multiple books, expanding the world, the stakes, and the consequences as the conflict deepens.
