ORENSHA // PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Orensha collects through this website, how it is used, and how the archive email flow is protected.

Last updated: July 12, 2026

Information We Collect

If you request archive access, subscribe, unsubscribe, or download files, we may collect the information you submit, such as your email address, subscription status, confirmation timestamps, and related archive access records.

How We Use Information

We use submitted information to send confirmation emails, deliver archive files, manage unsubscribe requests, prevent abuse, and keep the website operating securely.

Website Metrics

We collect limited first-party website metrics to understand how readers find the site, where the Signal Zero signup flow succeeds or fails, which files are clicked for download, and when readers click through to book retailers.

These metrics use a generated subscriber identifier where available. They are designed not to store email addresses, confirmation tokens, unsubscribe tokens, or full secret-bearing URLs in analytics events. Referrers are reduced to hostnames, and campaign fields are limited to an allowlist such as UTM and advertising campaign IDs.

Optional browser analytics, such as Azure Application Insights, are used only if configured. Marketing pixels are not enabled unless a separate marketing-measurement preference is added and enabled.

Email And Archive Access

If you request Signal Zero or related archive files, you may receive a confirmation email and, after confirmation, an archive delivery email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in those emails or the unsubscribe page on this site.

Cloudflare Turnstile

This site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish human users from automated traffic and protect forms from abuse. Cloudflare says Turnstile processes limited client-side signals, which may include IP address, TLS fingerprint, user-agent header, site key, and associated origin.

Cloudflare states that Turnstile uses these signals for bot detection and blocking, and to improve Turnstile's bot detection capabilities. Cloudflare describes the signals as necessary for this security purpose and states that they are not collected to identify, profile, or target individuals.

When Cloudflare processes Turnstile data to provide the service for this site, Cloudflare acts as a service provider or processor. When Cloudflare processes Turnstile data to improve its bot detection capabilities, Cloudflare describes itself as a controller for that processing.

You can read Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum at cloudflare.com/en-gb/turnstile-privacy-policy.

Service Providers

We may use service providers to operate the website, store subscriber records, verify form submissions, and send email. These providers process information as needed to provide those services.

Retention

We keep subscription and archive access records for as long as needed to provide the requested files, honor unsubscribe requests, maintain security, and comply with applicable obligations.

Your Choices

You may unsubscribe from archive emails at any time. If you have a privacy-related request about information you submitted through this site, contact J.J. Scott through the public Orensha contact channels.

Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. The date above will be revised when material changes are made.
